Personal Data Protection (PDP) Commissioner in collaboration with Futurise Sdn. Bhd., is delighted to provide an update on the ongoing development under the Personal Data Protection and Privacy Regulatory Sandbox, aimed at strengthening data protection standards and guidelines in Malaysia.
Amendment of Personal Data Protection Act 2024
This Act may be cited as the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024. This Act comes into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette and the Minister may appoint different dates for the coming into operation of different provisions of this Act.
