YBrs. Dr. Cheryl Barr Kumarakulasinghe, Senior Assistant Director, Data User Affairs Section has represented the Office of the Personal Data Protection Commissioner (PDP Commissioner) as an invited speaker for the briefing session “PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2010” organized by the Direct Selling Association of Malaysia (DSAM). This session took place on March 21, 2024 online.

This session is one of the training and knowledge sharing platforms regarding the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 [Act 709]. In this session attended by 126 participants online, Dr. Cheryl has shared her knowledge and experience regarding awareness of personal data protection and enforcement actions that can be taken under Act 709.
