PERSONAL DATA SYSTEM INSPECTION VISIT UNDER SECTION 101, PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2010 [ ACT 709 ] TO SELANGOR ISLAMIC COUNCIL DIALYSIS CENTER (MAIS) BUKIT JELUTONG, SELANGOR
The Enforcement Team of the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (PDP) conducted a Personal Data System inspection visit under Section 101, Personal Data Protection Act 2010 [Act 709] on the Data User which is MAIS Dialysis Center Bukit Jelutong, Selangor on 21 March 2024.
This inspection visit session started with a briefing on the personal data system inspection based on the 7 Principles of Personal Data Protection that will be carried out on the Bukit Jelutong MAIS Dialysis Center. Next, an inspection was carried out on the entire personal data system of MAIS Bukit Jelutong Dialysis Center as well as the physical collection and storage of personal data.
During this visit, the Enforcement Team of the PDP Commissioner’s Office also gave recommendations for improvements to the Bukit Jelutong MAIS Dialysis Center to further increase compliance with Act 709.
Bukit Jelutong MAIS Dialysis Center is an entity that falls under the 13 Data User Groups that must be registered under Act 709 and must comply with this Act.
