SUBMISSION OF 14-DAY REMINDER NOTICE OF DATA USER REGISTRATION UNDER THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2010 [ACT 709] AROUND KULIM CITY, KEDAH

The Enforcement Team of the Office of the Personal Data Protection Commissioner (PDP) has gone to the field to deliver Data User Registration Notices to Data Users around Kulim, Kedah on 21 August 2024.

This notice is delivered by hand to the Data User Group who must be registered. During the submission of the notice, the Enforcement Team of the Office of the Personal Data Protection Commissioner (PDP) also conducted an inspection of the Certificate of Registration Certificate displayed at the Data User’s premises.

The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner will continue to carry out enforcement activities to ensure that the personal data of Malaysians used by any entity or company is processed in a way that is full of integrity, secure and not misused based on the Personal Data Protection Principles and Standards outlined in the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 [Act 709].
